Debunking Misinformation

An Instagram post claims that by having two smoothies a day that a person could lose 20 lbs in 21 days.

“Top secret drink for-weight loss”

Through the use of the S.I.F.T. method I was able to make an informed decision about the caims made in the post. My research lead to the information posted by TIME Magazine, National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health and Mayo Clinic that had experts, registered dieticicions, who reported on the validity of these types of claims. I created a video that goes through my research methodology, analysis and recommendation on whether or not this smoothie diet should be followed or not.
